Alessandro

Alessandro grew up in Rome. The eclectic collection of his youthful endeavors (night manager at a shady hotel, photographer, dishwasher, antiques salesman) and his love of literature have culminated in his passion for telling stories.

After a double major in comparative literature and economics, he moved to Milan, where he worked as operational risk analyst for an NGO and met the love of his life. The two came to California for their honeymoon and never left.

Alessandro has worked as quantitative analyst in finance, was a member of San Francisco Writer’s Workshop for seven years, speaks a few languages, and is terrified of most shiny things, especially mirrors.

Semi-retired, he writes fiction as Alex Chance.
